SLA Conference

I just got back from the SLA Conference in Toronto and learned a lot about the functions of blogs. Working in a Law Library, my favorite speakers were Mary Ellen Bates and Gary Price. Mary Ellen Bates spoke about the importance of marketing the library and Gary Price showcased some interesting websites. Check out Gary Price's blog at Resource Shelf. SLA 2005 was my first conference experience and a little overwhelming with hundreds of vendors in the Expo Hall. Toronto was a wonderful background for the conference and I explored the city when I wasn't learning about new products and attending various classes.
